Slot Car

A collaboration with Reagan Harper and a game for the Global Game Jam 2019

Inspired by our dog, Tubs, chasing slot cars at home, this game allows you to race a friend while trying to out run a boston terrier determined to chew on a car! Play with just the trigger, similar to real slot cars, and share the controller if you've got a friend. 

This game pulls from childhood toys, a beloved pet, and a recent moment that reminds us of the little things that make a home. 

This game requires gamepad input to properly experience. It was tested with a dualshock 4. Other gamepads may have unpredictable behavior but nothing some tweaking of the start-up input panel can't fix.

Controls (also explained in game): 

• Triggers (R2 and L2): Accelerate 
• Bumpers (R1 and L1): Reset on track 
• Escape Key: Quit to Credits
